Dare to Dream – A Disney Musical 🌟🎭
Our school production, Dare to Dream – A Disney Musical, was a truly unforgettable experience for our entire community. Featuring over 200 students aged 5–13, the show brought together passion, creativity, and courage on a professional stage at the Whanganui Opera House — a phenomenal opportunity for our tamariki.
With 21 songs filled with singing and dancing, the production showcased the incredible talent, commitment, and teamwork of our students. The dedication shown through rehearsals, learning choreography, memorising lyrics, and supporting one another was inspiring and a testament to their hard work.
Dare to Dream gave students the chance to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and shine in their own unique way — whether on stage, in an ensemble, or supporting from behind the scenes. Throughout the journey, our students embodied our four school values of Service, Courage, Excellence, and Aroha, encouraging one another, striving to do their best, and performing with kindness and respect.
We were incredibly grateful for the support of our whānau, whose involvement and encouragement played a vital role in bringing this production to life. From costumes and rehearsals to cheering from the audience, this truly was a whole-community effort.
Performing at the Whanganui Opera House made the experience even more special, giving our students the chance to perform in a professional setting and create memories that will last a lifetime. Dare to Dream was more than a musical — it was a celebration of confidence, creativity, and the joy of coming together as a school community. 🌈✨
