Book Week 2026 at St Anne’s was a celebration to remember! 📚✨
Students and staff across the school took part in a fun-filled day, arriving dressed as their favourite book characters and bringing beloved stories to life. From classic tales to modern favourites, our school was bursting with colour, creativity, and imagination.
Throughout the day, classrooms were buzzing with activities centred around stories, authors, and creative thinking. A special highlight was our “Drop Everything and Read” rule — when the school bell rang randomly, it was everyone’s cue to stop, drop, and read for 10 minutes. No matter where they were or what they were doing, the entire school paused to enjoy the magic of reading together.
The excitement continued with our much-loved Book Character Parade, where students and staff strutted their stuff in a fashion-walk style showcase. This gave everyone the opportunity to proudly present their imaginative costumes and celebrate the wonderful worlds found on our bookshelves.
Book Week 2026 was a joyful reminder of the power of stories and the creativity they inspire. We loved seeing our St Anne’s community embrace reading with such enthusiasm, imagination, and fun!
